Shawn Lorg AIA, NCARB

Commercial, Civic & Education Market Associate Principal

A fifth-generation Oklahoman, Shawn Lorg is deeply rooted in his community and dedicated to advancing the profession of architecture. He serves on the Professional Advisory Board for the College of Architecture at the University of Oklahoma and on the Moore Faith Medical Clinic Board. Shawn remains actively involved with both the AIA Central Oklahoma Chapter and the Norman Chamber of Commerce, reflecting his ongoing commitment to professional and community service.

Shawn believes architecture is about far more than designing buildings—it’s about creating spaces that inspire, elevate, and transform. He often observes that anyone can design a building or remodel a space, but true success is measured by how people experience it and the inspiration it evokes. Guided by the principle that “Great architecture transcends time and space with intentionality and grace,” Shawn approaches each project as an opportunity to challenge convention, integrate technology thoughtfully, and design with purpose.

For Shawn, designing a code-compliant, functional building is only the baseline; designing spaces that lift the human spirit, foster excellence, and elevate community standards is the true goal. He views architecture as a catalyst for change—an instrument that shapes futures, strengthens communities, and raises expectations. This philosophy defines his approach to design and fuels his ongoing pursuit of architectural excellence.
