State Highway 74 Bridge over Crow/Shawnee Creek

Crossing Crow Creek just got easier — and safer.

FSB is providing civil and structural engineering services for the assessment, preliminary design, final design, survey, geotechnical investigation and hydrology/hydraulic services, including plans, specifications and estimates for SH-74 over Shawnee Creek (also known as Crow Creek). Located approximately 11 miles north of SH-33, in north-central Oklahoma’s Logan County, this project replaces the existing bridge on the existing alignment. A shoo-fly was constructed to the east to expedite construction.

The new bridge is a three-span concrete beam bridge (approximate 50’-55’-45’) with new shoulders and roadway approaches. It includes pre-stressed concrete bridge girders, a cast-in-place concrete bridge deck that spans the creek, and abutments, drilled shafts and driven piles.
