Strategizing for the future paves the road map to future university success.
A fresh perspective was what Cameron University officials were looking for when they commissioned FSB to produce a master plan for both the Lawton and Duncan campuses. One that would look into future campus needs and outline a plan which provides a vigorous environment that advances the academic strengths of the institution, while also enhancing student life on campus. Master Plan 2025 investigated the conditions and needs of classroom use, campus identity, future academic and support facilities, and the continued development of green space within a pedestrian and visitor-friendly environment.
FSB’s approach was based on a highly interactive series of workshops with key stakeholders that were focused on making thoughtful decisions about current and future programs and facilities. Decisions were based on hard data and informed assumptions gathered during the planning process, which provided a forum for reviewing concepts, planning around obstacles, maximizing areas of strength and encouraging the consideration of all options.
Master Plan 2025 addresses campus edges, campus gateways, existing and new facilities, classroom use and needs, campus character, campus space, pedestrian and vehicular circulation and parking.
