University recreation center offers multiple options for students and faculty to get moving.
Good universities don’t just educate their students. They provide the necessary tools to develop a healthy lifestyle that will improve these young adults’ quality of life during and well beyond their college years.
FSB was proud to play a role in boosting the well-being of Cameron University students and employees through the design and upgrade of the Aggie Rec Center. Working closely with university officials, the team created specific areas to assist students and staff with fitness and recreational goals. The building incorporates a cardio area, a free and machine weight area, group fitness area, spin room, indoor pool, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, three racquetball courts, a stretch and personal DVD area, and an outdoor patio. Locker rooms, offices and a reception area round out the project.
A full range of interior elements also required remodeling, including walls, floors, ceiling materials, colors, lighting, window treatments, millwork finishes, office furniture and artwork. All of these factors were brought to bear in an effort to create an inviting, inspiring and cohesive environment, in compliance with newly-established standards created by FSB specifically for Cameron’s furniture and finishes.
From beginning to end, FSB’s team collaborated with Cameron officials on an on-call basis, allowing for a fluid working relationship, with the ability to address questions quickly and efficiently.
