Edmond officials recently selected Oklahoma City-based Frankfurt Short Bruza (FSB) as the architecture and engineering firm for the Edmond Public Safety Center project.
The new center will combine the Edmond Police Department with Emergency Management and Central Communications into one space.
“We look forward to working with the city of Edmond and the public safety departments to meet the needs of the growing city,” said Philip McNayr, principal at FSB. “The center will be designed to give public safety officials the space and functionality necessary for the ever growing community of Edmond.”
In October 2011, Edmond voters approved a five-year half-cent sales tax to build the new Public Safety Center in October. FSB will provide recommendations on the location of the center to City of Edmond officials.
