OKLAHOMA CITY (October, 2013) – Frankfurt Short Bruza (FSB), an Oklahoma City architecture and engineering firm, is proud to recognize two staff members Liane Ozmun and Chad Nester who helped establish the first Oklahoma chapter of Society of Fire Protection Engineers (OK SFPE) and have now taken leadership positions within OK SFPE. Liane Ozmun is Vice President of OK SFPE and Chad Nester is the Treasurer/Secretary for OKSPE.
“We’re very proud of the contributions both Liane and Chad have made to the development of the fire protection industry in Oklahoma,” said Gary James, president of FSB. “Their dedication and knowledge of the industry will enhance the overall organization.”
The National Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) approved the Oklahoma chapter of SFPE a year ago in October 2012. The mission of the Oklahoma SFPE chapter is to facilitate growth and development of the Fire Protection industry in Oklahoma. This is accomplished through regular meetings and events to benefit engineers, contractors, manufacturers, architects and all other contributors.
“We wanted to provide an arena where professionals could share experiences, knowledge and insight to develop our industry,” said Liane Ozmun, Vice President of OK SFPE and Senior Fire Protection Engineer at FSB. “OK SFPE provides opportunities for our industry to develop and grow right here in Oklahoma.”
